Seymour is the ruler of Spira. He is also the ruler of Guadosalam and is the hight priest of an ice temple. He passes along the teachings of Yevon through the Guado race and he knows the teachings of Zeion and Yunalescia. (He's Important!) Everyone loves him too. Seymour appears to be a saint in everyones eyes, but really, he is evil. But don't blame him, when he was young, people were mean and cruel to Seymour and his father didn't do anything about it, causing Seymour to become evil. I also found out his father let his mother leave to sacrifice herself to defeat sin. Seymour didn't want his mommy to leave, but she did and she died. That also drove Seymour to go crazy. (some father) Anyway, Seymour becomes interested in Yuna (because he wanted to protect her, the way Zeion protected Yunalescia. Since Yunalescia and Zean was in love.)
Ooookay......Miltank and Cubone has played even more Final Fanatsy X and I found out WHY he wanted to marry Yuna. It is as stated above, the Yunalescia and Zean theory but theres more. He wanted her to choose him to become the final Aeon in the end so he could become the next Sin, to destroy Spira. Heh, heh, Seymour's sooooooo sneaky!
I think Seymour is a good character in FF10. He speaks with a calm voice, (Yeah!) and he is evil. (I seem to like the bad guys ~-~) Well...... I think thats all.
